Meet the Founder

Tyreece Johnson is a mental health professional, Certified Community Health Worker (CHW), and community advocate dedicated to strengthening communities across Maryland. As a proud Muslim woman born and raised in Baltimore, her work is rooted in cultural understanding, lived experience, and a deep commitment to service.

Through years of experience in psychiatric rehabilitation, case management, and community-based support, Tyreece recognized a critical gap: many individuals leaving treatment are stable—but not yet fully stabilized in their everyday lives.

She founded Amana Health & Resource Center to serve as a bridge between treatment and long-term stability—offering resource navigation, structured case management, accountability, and compassionate guidance for individuals rebuilding their lives.

Amana is built on the belief that stabilization goes beyond basic needs. It includes organization, structure, life planning, and sustainable growth. Tyreece’s mission is to create a space where individuals feel seen, supported, and equipped—not just to survive, but to rise.
